okay.
i checked my car tonight real close for the first time since i got it.

i notice when i start it it idles kinda high, and slows down a little, it is still smooth though. but later on it idles around 1000rpm or a little below. it shakes pretty bad i dont think it should be normal, i dont think it is a injector, no ping noise dosent smell rich. so i was wondering what could be causes if this isnt normal? it sorda makes a sound that could be a missfireing that could be a plug right? also there is a whole in the muffler so im not sure if there is a sound simularity.

also i here this stuff about there being something like a ecu or something on the passenger side that is suposed to blink, do i have to buy this thing, and how much would that be. i found a plug in that looks like a earphone plug just bigger. if i dont have to buy this were is it located?

also my abs or park light stays on, i pump the breaks release and engage parking break but still nothing.

also i am looking for a manual is there a free online one or do i have to buy one? and were could i get that?

that is all for now im sure i will find something else that dosent work or dont seem to.

pull back your carpet on the pass. side and you will see it.

check your brake fluid or it could be a bad switch.

just get one at your local parts house. they arent that expensive.

 

alright, can you tell me about how far, i pulled it back about half way and didnt see anything, it was getting dark and late and my dad wanted to go home.

i woulda pulled it back further but then i woulda had to take the plastic and all that off from the door and i didnt have time for that

 

its right where you would put your feet if you sat on that side. its behind a metal plate but you can still see the ecu light thru a hole in the plate. just pull it back its under there.

if you dont have time for that, dont play cars.

 

I think the spastic idle is normal, it goes from 1000rpm to 500 to 750 back to 500 I've noticed this only happens when you turn on a accessory like lights, a/c, fan, anythin electrical or if the car is in traffic and starts to get hot the aux fan will come on to cool it down. do you think a better alternator might help this, it is sorda annoying.
it just bugs me it shaking like that but it makes enough sense to me, cause i was trying to find the light switch, so i pressed enough stuff

 

A bigger alternator probably won't help , it might do the spastic idle because everything is taking power from the already power lacking engine. Taking off my a/c really helped out, but just because I did that and it stopped super spastci idle doesn't mean it could work for you. Anyways just read up on your car and everything will be fine.
