Default Wondering if i can get a favor from the rsx crowd...

Previous owner of my ep says he swapped out the header to the midpipe from an rsx-s. I had already bought a header off of an rsx-s before he mentioned this to me. Before i go and buy the rest, I want to see if hes full of it or telling the truth. Can someone give me an outside diameter of the downpipe are and the midpipe so I can check them against mine?

What are you asking? If you are wondering if a rsx-s header and down pipe can be put on an ep3 the answer is yes, but you are going to want to get the exhaust too.

i think he was referring to seeing if he already has the rsx-s header in his ep3 to make sure that the original ep3 owner is lying that's why he wants to know the OD so he can compare them.

my comment is more towards.. you're not going to get a significant gain swapping out from stock ep3 to dc5 header on back.

Exactly, i just want to see exactly what is on my car. And for performance, ive heard that swapping the header back and keeping the ep axleback will result in around the same or better power gains than a $500 catback, plus sound and look oem

well if i remember the downpipe from the rsx-s is like 3inches. and at the end of the catylic converter, where it connects to the mid pipe it curves. while the ep one goes straight.

kinda confusing but it might help u out
