wwrs lip mounting question
I have a wwrs lip for my 92-95 civic Im tired of using double-sided tape because it never sticks on very long. Is there any other way of mounting this lip?

if i remember correctly, your supposed to used the double sided tape in conjunction with screws at the end of each side of the lip & then one under/inside each vents on the lip. I forget if that was the right way or not, but thats how i held mines on minus the double sided tape cause i couldnt find a strong one, but with just the screws it worked fine.

do you bottom this lip out? are you cleaning all surfaces with rubbing alcohol before applying tape? the only reason I ask is, if it's 3M double sided foam tape, that thing shouldn't come loose unless there's another problem.

I clean it with alcohol and i dont bottom it out my car is not slammed. When i use double sided tape after awhile it collects dirt and eventually comes apart. The reason for that is the double sided tape leaves a small gap between the lip the bumper. I always want to eliminate the gap so that if you were looking at the lip you would not see the tape.

If you push down on the lip, does that pull directly on the tape or the bumper? If it puts pressure on the tape, you might try some small plastic bracing from the lip to the bumper on the underside of both. That would keep some stress off the tape and may help eliminate a little of the tape gap. If you need an example, let me know.

What I did with mine is zip tied it through the bottom of bumper and through the inner holes on the lip you can't tell and that takes care of the bumper sag
