Default tach install help please

i searched alot of different combinations and cant find anything, i bought a raptor shift light and know where to hook power and ground but i dont know where to run the tach wire to.

its a 1989 crx si obd0 with a zc and it says i should run it off the ecu, it says i should not hook it straight to the coil as it wont read right.

can anyone tell me what color the tach wire of the ecu is or can i use a splice connecter on the negative wire off the distributor?

any help would be greatly appreciated.
