Default JRSC in CRX..

Yo not really new here been browsing for awhile now just reading and looking for info. I have a 88 CRX SI that I daily drive mostly for the gas mileage and saving money to get my Lightning motor rebuild (damn fords lol). Truck did make 721WHP/859TRQ before on a 150 shot and 20 psi before I blew it at the track racing a 600WHP Evo for $500...still won haha.

Alright enough ranting..I'm interested in putting a JRSC on my CRX and the most important question I have is will I be able to retain AC with this kit? I just moved to Arkansas from Philadelphia and the summer is brutle here. I really want to keep the AC if it possible.

I have been searching and using google trying to see if it is doable and really have not come up with a concrete answer. I have heard there are AC adapter pullies for the newer civics but thats not relevant to me. I was going to go turbo but that seems pretty difficult to do a custom manifold just to keep AC and money consuming.

I'm just looking to get alittle more ummmffff from my daily without doing a whole lot of mods to it. Really am not looking to spend ahole lot of money into it..I'm for the most part just looking to clean up the body/interior and give it some more pep.

Any help you guys can give me on the subject I would be most grateful. Thanks!

yes, you can retain A/C if your crx currently has air conditioning.

thanks for the fast replay streetwerkz..I would PM ya but I guess I can't do it yet..Anyways I more quick question. Is it a simple bolt in install for the AC..or will I need a differnt belt that is included with the kit.(if there is one?) Any special brackets I will need regarding the AC like in the 92-95 Civics? Thanks again

you can still download the instructions and parts components from supercharger.com

as far as i know, if you keep the stock crank pulley with the grooves for the A/C belt you can keep A/C.
