I think you need to do a little more research on stuff personally, not trying to, I don't know... w/e, I just think you're getting into stuff you don't know too much about, and the bold section in my quote on there tells it. All of that in the bold is part of the Mugen AGBS...

It all looks good on paper and sounds good, just make sure you know what it's actually going to do first. You haven't even had your car on the track yet, and you're jumping into some pretty thick stuff. I'm just hear for your back man that's all...

Driving a friends car... erm, I don't know. Get that bitch on the track a few times before you go nuts on the wallet, all I'm saying, take it with a grain of salt.

How do you get 'approved' for reenlistment? One would have to be a serious 'screw up' to not be considered.

I broke my shoulder terribly while in the Army and I was still 'approved' to reenlist after being medically discharged with a 70% disability rating. Go figure eh?

Congrats on the re-up. Post pics of the progress when this make-over kicks off.

i believe that esteban had/ has the mugen brake setup on his itr.... and iirc he was saying it was awesome on track - even better than the spoon setup.

i'd be concerned about the fact that it's doubtful they'll fit under jdm 16's.

And I don't like it personally because of the inability to run 15" tires.....

what kind of track experience do you have? that suspension would lead me to believe you have massive amounts of experience and know what you are getting into.

i ask because of the choice of tire (i guess tire for around town/highway?), the brakes/rotors/lines, and especially the sway bars and MOST of all the suspension. im not sure what exactly the point of active gate and mugen rotors would be, superiorly expensive and there are better options out there. (imo) for instance the stock setup is pretty amazing especially with the new cobalt pads available, spoons, and then there are all the other multi-piston thingies out there.

my main point was the suspension. curious if this will be street driven. that suspension is uh... hrm... how to put this. not street friendly? at all? its pretty serious stuff and those rates you chose of 16/14 are not iirc (if they are, they are just BARELY) within the suggested spring rate range. that, and they are pretty wild hardcore track/race stuff, ever think of the NZ? (different spring rate range) or something similar? and the anti-roll bars, i'd go with an adjustable rear ARB if you are indeed going to go with this type of suspension.

any reason you want the bigger front mugen sway?

anyways, just curious.

most of my questions are based on assuming this is getting tracked heavily - but then again that setup assumes that (imo), so thus the questions. not knockin... just trying to help/understand.

You need to go a bit stiffer if you want to use Mugen N1. The range starts from 16K all the way up to 28K (same for front and rear).

As for Mugen AGB, I'm sure it brakes a lot harder than stock ITR. But my problem with that is the cost and availability of the replacement rotors. King doesn't list it on the website, but I bet that they won't be cheap.
