what does it mean when the maintence soon box turns from green to yellow???

 

isnt that just like stop lights? green means go, yellow means warning, red means gg ? just going by logic.

I think it turns from green to yellow when you pass the mileage at which maintenance is required. Like it might turn on at say, 70,000 miles for spark plug maintenance and after a certain mileage that you drive without turning it off or repairing what has to be done, it turns red. Maybe?

 

That indicator will change from Green to Yellow every 7,500 miles to indicate you need to do an oil change. There's nothing electronic about it. Reset it by inserting a key in the slot, and 7,500 miles later it will be yellow again.
