well as it turns out i have an 05 accord lx and it has a storage compartment on the inside next to the shift gear , its mostly for junk well last week i forced it open and now it won't lock or stay shut anybody think they can help

 

You mean like #14 & all it's hinges?

 

Are you talking about the compartment below the audio/heater controls in front of the shifter? There is a lever on the side of it that latches it shut. You probably broke it when you forced it. The pocket has to be removed and if that arm is broken you'll have to go down to the dealer and get a new one. We usually stock them or can get them next day.
