Default Distributor swap from OBD2 to OBD1 necessary???

Hi,

I have a 2002 accord coupe that just went out of warranty, so it's boost time :D

I have pretty much figured everything out but this!!

I'll put a OBD1 P28 ECU with Hondata s200b.

Since a F23 is OBD2, do I need to worry about the distributor?? Is it just a matter of plug the ECU with a conversion harness and everything will work or will I have problems with the distributor.

Do I need to change the distributor??
I was told that F22 distributor could fit on my engine, does it??
I know I should get a ignition upgrade, but if I can go without ignition upgrade it would save me $$ on the short term, but later on I will consider upgrading

Yes I know I should get a new ignition, but for now I just want everything I need to boost the car, after that I'll see if I still have the budget for upgraded parts (ignition, throttle body...)

I don't know why either. In fact the F23 is a great engine to boost on, the engine is one of the cheapest to buy, so if you blow one, their's another engine you can get for ridiculously low price(less then 300$ for a complete f23 w/out tranny). Also it has a good displacement and a load of torque.

Maybe some parts are harder to find, but their findable.

yah have you ever run these d16 civics or f22 accords around your area u know how u blow their doors off, yet they are being boosted all the timeand you can get cams, turbo kits, etc. all over the place. im not seein this concept.
