Default JDM rear crossmember vs USDM rear crossmember ???

Car: 88 Crx Si

I was wondering could I swap the US rear crossmember out for a JDM one?
Would it make a difference because the car is rhd? Would the rear mount bracket be different if I get a SiR crossmember?

{now back the to USDM one}
Would a 88-91 Civic hb (or sedan) have the same rear crossmember as the rex? I want to think yes, but you know how honda does with minor differences.

Before you jump the gun and ask why, I believe mines is bent and I can get a Japanese one for cheap ($75), buy a new one from honda ($300+), or luck up and find a rex at a local junkyard (slim odds) then I got to pull it myself which I dont have the time for.

Thanks for you help.

you can't use the JDM rear crossmember because it is for a RHD car

I just did some searching on how to replace the rear crossmember, and someone posted that they (jdm/usdm) are the same, but the steering components (which I dont need) are different.

Do people swap that crossmember when doing a rhd conversion?
