Default Tuner/Shop in NY NJ Area?!?

Hey guys I am finishing up my build and am looking for a shop to finish everything up and tune. I am on Long Island but will travel up to 1.5 hours away to NY NJ or anywhere close.

I only need a couple of minor things installed (injectors, OBD1 conversion, and a fuel pump [need to drop the tank on a 91 crx]) so they need to have a shop and not only tune. I would then need the car tuned. I have e mailed and called a bunch of places with no luck. They either don't answer the phone, don't respond to emails or have a month+ wait.

Let me know if you guys know of any good places! I already looked at the sticky so dont even say that. Thanks.

nrg-tech hasn't answered there phone or responded to the email I sent them.
evans-tuning has a 2 month wait and doesn't do installs. Only tuning.

drt ralphy will just throw your car on the dyno, do some WOT pulls, call it a tune and charge you $450. btw he tunes with crome, a freeware program.

If it is Hondata or AEM tuning, Give us a call 301-290-0330.

We are a bit further of a drive, about 4 hours away.

Jeff, what part of NY NJ did you not understand Sorry couldn't pass that one up.

IMO From L.I. it's worth it to make the trip to Tempest, Joe put's out the real performance. Just watch his car run. God is that thing loud.

I agree. WOT is all he tuned me for back in the day. the street tune was a joke and the bucking on part throttle he couldnt even get rid of on 440cc injectors with AEM EMS on my all motor setup. He tried for 5min and said thats the best he could do. I never went back and then the motor blew up. I was even referred by one of his FRIENDS and still got shitty treatment. I feel sorry for those that dont know him or one of his friends.

Evans is worth the wait but some of the others listed are top notch as well

If your in long island go to Nrg-tech and speak with Tom or Miller and get it tuned on their dyno. their work speaks for themselves. But once you get in the shop, you'll see why they can sometimes miss a phone call or two...they are ALWAYS working.

That is why you hire someone to take phone calls! I couldn't even imagine how much work and parts sales would suffer if no one answered the phones here

I for one know they just provide a lot of attention/concentration to their work and helping out customers that are at the shop. Its def. worth a trip if your in the island to just go see what they do/ to speak to one of them

Chris (Xenocron) is a stand up guy very easy to deal with and is very laid back and willing to help.Nrg is also very good at everything they do as well.Tempest also has very nice work come out of their shop from what I see.I only know Chris first hand and I am using the ems too.

When I saw how nicely that 1200hp Supra ran that Joe tuned, I was impressed. Ryan will tell you, that's not an easy thing to do.
