my body on my 93 dx hatch is wiped out pretty much. it was an auto chassis that I swapped in a b18/manual transmission using the car's auto engine harness.

I bought another 93 hatch (cx) that is manual transmission. will my auto engine harness plug into the cx's manual main harness and function properly for stuff like the backup lights, etc or are they different completely at the plugs??

 

im not sure the exact answer to your question but ive heard of it being pain trying to use an auto harness on a manual car. but if i am wrong someone feel free to correct me

 

yeah, I'd like to know for sure since I've already rewired this harness on the b18 and dont want to have to track down a manual harness and rewire AGAIN if I dont have to...

 

i believe using the auto harness will cause some problems, but im not too sure on this. it would be easier to just use ur cx manual harness on the ls motor since it's not vtec.

I would but the cx didnt come with a motor or transmission and the harness was gone with it.

I "think" I've got a line on a manual engine harness just not sure which is why I was wondering about using the auto harness if I could.
