I have a H22 swap in a 94 integra gsr. The problem I have is when i start it up the car idles at about 1500rpm then when i either give gas or move the distributor the car will rev up and down to 3500rpm. When it is reving up and down i can hear a pop noise coming from the thottle body. I cleaned my FITV and my IACV. I also took all the air bubbles out of my coolent and triple checked for vaccum leaks. I have no CELS either. What do you think it can be?

Moving the distributor is screwing with ur timing for 1 thing, get it timed right and keep it that way. read my other post for more info.

 

is your egr valve connected? i do not have the optional of running egr and since i forgot about the egr valve being hooked up, i experienced idel problems. just a thought.
