Yes the GSR Compressor will mount to the B16 Bracket. The GSR compressor is the same as the 99-2000 Si compressor. But in order to use the GSR comprssor on a D series car you must have the line from a 99-2000 Si for 96-2000 model civics. If you car originally was equipped with a D series engine then the best thing to do is Buy the P54 A/C Bracket which uses a D series compressor therefore you do not have to change the hoses. The bracket is cheaper than the hoses unless you find them used.

i dont think civic vx will fit cause it is a d series compressor and what year is your car and is b16a obd1 or obd2 or obd0 ? and the si compressor u meant was from a 1999~2000 civic si,right ? not a eg si,right ?
i am using a p30 ac bracket (jdm obd1 b16a) with usdm 95 gsr compressor and it bolts right on.

thats exactly what i have in my eg hatch. i have a jdm b16a sir II swap and it comes with p30 ac bracket, and i am running the stock d series ac pipes and d series ac belt with 95 gsr compressor.i have to modify the ac pipes a bit in order to bolt onto gsr ac compressor and u will need a new ac dryer / receiver and have the whole ac system vacummed and recharged by a ac shop for like $100.
and for the ac dryer / receiver part.it depends on what year and model is your eg sedan cause the pipes' diameter are different on ac dryer/ receiver mounts.

dryer/ receiver is a silver can that sits behind the driver side headlight.only 2 10mm bolts to unscrew. and i am not sure if any dohc obd1 compressor would work or not.but i didnt want to take any chances.so i use 95 gsr ..cause u have to think this way..since u have b16a swap into eg..a lot of more parts are competible with dc integra.
and feel free to ask me any ac question.

the link below is the pic of my eg with ac installed..gsr compressor.in the pic u will see i have to twist the high pressure ac line a bit in order to bolt onto compressor
