I have a 99 accord ex, yesterday morning I went out to start it and it turns over and acts like it wants to fire but just cough's. Last night when I got home I went out and it started up, didn't take right off but didn't take much to start. Now this morning again I go out and it won't start just like yesterday, acts the same. Clogged fuel filter, fuel pump , what else? Thanks Mike

 

number one, do you have gas in the tank?
munber two, is the car parked on too steep of a grade that the fuel is running away from the pump?
number three, do you have spark.... (pull a plug, put the wire on it, and ground the electrode to the valve cover bolts... have someone smash the key for you and you'll know right there if you have spark or not.
