I was thinking about Injen/AEM cold air, but I'm not sure how that looks like installed. Would I have to cut anything? Is hydrolock gonna be an issue? What about the v2? I just know that the K20's respond good to bolt ons compared to other series X_X thanks

Injen.

And there is a possibility of hydrolocking with any cold air intake system, just dont be an idiot and drive through 2 foot puddles.

Better yet, tell your friend to do some. Then if you/him have any specific questions, feel free to ask then.
