Default KBee Coilovers.... anyone try these?

Story goes these are very popular in japan, runs about $1000 here. Monotube, 15-way, 12k/12k, shortened shock body. These aren't your BC copies(Megan, Apexi, Buddyclub, ...) ?

eh don't look like anything too special to me. the 12k spring rates don't look too attractive. maybe if you could have 10k/10k or 10k/8k it would be more appealing.

anybody have first hand experiences with these?

Well...no real feedback on performance. Seems like we all care about colors and looks. I'll keep on searching

i think 12/12 is fine. i use to have 12/12 apex springs and they were okay, but my new springs in 14/14 feel much better. if you drive your car hard, do mountain runs, or road race like i do, you should get 12kg and up spring rates. most of the s2000s in the hyperrevs have 12kg/mm spring rates and up to 18kg/mm, with swift springs, or other springs. I'm on 14/14 swift springs and they're great. The car won't bounce around because the springs aren't stiff enough to handle it; so thats why you need stiffer spring rates. If your springs aren't stiff enough, you will get more of that unwanted bouncing.

oh yeah, apexi coilovers are great. i don't know why people don't trust them. APEXi has been around for a long time, and their racing experience in D1, and road racing should speak for itself. just look at Imamura's fd.

well what is your goals? what are you going to be using them for ie: auto x or just to lower the car? why not get a proven system for the same amount of money than something that no one has any use of.
