I haven't really tried since ive only been riding for 6 months, 5000 miles. but Ive punched it hard in first gear and the front tires don't want to lift up, I know for sure if I reved it and poped that clutch it would.

A friend of mine has a 06 GSXR and he couldn't get it to wheelie under power until he softened up the rear suspension. When he tried to preload it, the wheel would just spin, lol

slide all the way back on the seat accelerate slowly then open it up. No need to use the clutch in 1st until your experienced. If i could do it over again i wouldnt even bother with first gear 2nd is so much better

Don't worry about any of that. Just cruise at 10k in first gear, close the throttle, then hammer it. It is easy to do that way and gets you used to the sensation of clutching it up.

2nd gear, one finger on the clutch. Pull it in, snap it out, roll on the throttle.

And you're airborn.

Or you can buy a speed triple and just roll on the throttle anywhere you want.

Quickly let off the gas. 10k rpm, let off (chop it), then gun it. It will come up I promise.

All i do is go about 35mph let of and pin the throttle. The wheel will come up.
Dont try to ride for to long at first. Get comfortable popping the wheel up first. It's not like doing a wheelie on a bicycle it can get kinda scary when you pop you first one. So just pop a few and get used to the felling then keep your foot iver the back brake (just in case) and slightly open and close the throttle to find a the balance point then juice it. Make sure your are not leaning forward when tring to power wheelie
