Default Went to the dyno.....tell me what you think...

Setup:
Stock block/head 95 integra gsr
44 trim ebay turbo rebuilt by blaastperformance
Tial 38mm wastegate
DNA manual Boost controller
Rev hard log
2.5 dp with 2.5 highflow cat and greddy evo2
RC 550's
Tuned on eCtune

It was reading 14.5 lbs on the boost gauge and around 13.5 through the MAP. What do u guys think? maybe it should have been a little more?

**Update** Went to the track last night and went 13.1 with a shitty 2.3 60' at a trap speed of 110mph. I was pretty happy with the outcome! let me know what you think!!!

**Update 2** Went to the track again and ran 12.7 at 113mph with a 2.1 60' with kumho ecsta sport tires!

thats about right with that size of a turbo. a bit more tuning to try to smooth it out and it will be killer!

That turbo is way too small and spools way to late...get a real snail on there.

2.5" downpipe and exhaust, mbc and an unknown late spooling turbo. I would say that's about right. Any ignition problems on the dyno?

Seems about right. I agree with everyone else though, that turbo is LAGGY! Save up for ball bearing unit like a gt28 or gt30r

The run posted is not the cleanest run, however it yielded the best peak number

The setup was running what appeared to be a slightly restrictive exhaust system.
The turbo specs are really unknown which make you scratch your head.

One major piece of information that was not included in the original post is that the MBC was fluctuating randomly & seemed to always taper off boost by 1 psi at higher rpms.

Considering the supposed setup specs along with the good old Florida humidity & heat I think the setup did ok.

Oh i agree i am definately happy with how it came out. It rips alot more than before. But considering i wasnt sure of the size of turbo until i got home and realized that it was for sure a 44 trim, i just didnt know how much it was supposed to put out. John, you did a great job! which is why i will definately keep coming back to you!

I was going to say that it does look like that the boost is not holding steady at all. The Tq should not drop that drastically, which leads me to believe the boost spiked a little then tapered off in the high RPM.

And was this still on the stock intake manifold? The numbers aren't that bad if that is the case.

chris you hater

like i said for all the info given, and the turbo being as small as it is, the power number is good, although, i doubt it would make TOO much more

would probably be a fun to drive car

44 trim + 14psi = 6200rpm

I made almost double that by then on a T467

God i really suck at racing!! My best is a 13.31 but my trap speeds are in the 112-115mph range. I've only ever been to the track twice so i'm still learning, but damn...i have 50whp and 15wtq more than your setup and run slower times...

That Torque is scarey! It shouldnt drop like that. But you have very good numbers in my opinion (Good Driver ) I think You should dyno tune it a little more for saftey just double check your boost and AFR

sounds like a heathy motor
