WTB in NC: 89-91 Civic/CRX Si or 90-91 Civic/EX 5spd cable transmission in good condition!
I have a clutch from a '89 CRX so I am not sure if it's the same as 90-91 or not but I have a DX transmission and need to replace it for shorter geared unit since the motor is going in a '91 Si. I am no tranny expert but I have heard that the 90-91 Si/EX trannsmissions were the best for the SOHC EF cars due to gearing so thats why that is my preference but I may have to stay with an '89 to keep my clutch, not sure?. I am willing to get a new clutch disc if needed as long as the transmisssion is in good condition w/o need of rebuilding. Let me know what you have cause I am trying to get this mini me motor together and installed before winter
