After Tuning With KPRO 202WHP
Does that sound about right?
I'm posting this for a friend who got his car tuned and wanted to know if thats about how much HP he should be making.

I'm posting this for a friend who got his car tuned and wanted to know if thats about how much HP he should be making.
Probably should have posted this in the RSX/EP forum, don't you think? The question has nothing to do with where the engine is - it could be in a dump truck for all you care.
Ask a mod to move it and I'm sure you'll get better answers

Sir, please read the rules. We cannot guess what your HP is, or how fast your car can go, its just not feasable. We'd need ALL the variables, like air temp, what oil your running, what tires you have on, your timing at the time, your dyno sheet, etc, etc. Check the EP/RSX forum, or the hybrid forum. We're all B and D people in here.
actually there are not too many people on hee with k swaps actually a good 99 percent of the pople on here havent even seen a k seires motor
i suggest (seriously suggest you go to k20a.org)
they know sooooooo much more than honda tech and the parts are such a good deal there its riduculous haha

no............the z1 isnt a preffrede motor for a swap anyways its a step abouve the A3 but it isnt a k24/k20 hybrid............check out k20a.org

with the cost of getting that z1 into the chasis why didnt he build a k24/k20?
dont ya need a diffrent ecu (since the 05-06 ecu isnt kpro compatible)
new VSS, new charging harness, to get that in there?
that does sound right, to get more horsepower out of it get the 440's injectors from the RDX if you're maxed out...............other wise you're right about where that motor is...............................you could get a better exuast manifold but we all know how much
k swap headers are.......................some compoaines want like waht 1200 for their product?

get me a copy of his calibration - what was used for basemap? who did the tune - doesn't sound like vtc was touched? what do the vtc maps look like for high cam. does tuner know to leave knock sensor enabled? as k-pro does NOT pull timing - its up to the tuner to tune out knock

I think the "crazy deals" your buddy received would throw him in that small %. Most people who do the swap from what I have heard usually pay out of the butt.
