Like the title states, i have a b series axle that is stuck in the control arm, it wont budge no matter what i do, and i have no idea how to get it out. someone help plz! I also read something about if it was stuck try using an air hammer, can someone explain how an air hammer works?

 

have you sprayed it down?
i've never had one stick.

have a friend hold the arm out, use a hammer (i prefer sledge) and i usually grab one of my extensions and slowly tap it out.

works great.

 

if your replacing it.. beat that bitch out w/ a big punch ...if not put the axle nut on flush and go to town...as instrument stated have you used any PB? i've had them stick before.. just beat on it till it came out...G/L

 

soak it in pb blaster over night, then take a 20 pound sledge and beat the ****** out.
