Don't get it. How much could each part have costed to be able to sell for $700? There is muh better things you oculd do with that money, like putting together a turbo kit yourself. And btw, wha the hell is a Civic intercooler anyway? lol

You know, I started to save up for one of these kits. I was about to buy one no matter what anyone on here said since I figure it should be fine. Just last weekend my friend told me his turbo was spooling and just went "fjkdfhdkhLHRFLHKfrhrketyroiru8t*O&#(*RU*" It just made scrambling noises and seized. Ran it fine for about 4 months, everything hooked up perfectly and all. I asked him where he got it from and what brand. He said bought one of these turbo kits off of ebay since it was cheap. Now, for sure, I know NEVER to buy these no name brand kits off of ebay. Sure they are VERY nice in price and look BEAUTIFUL and shiney, but the end result, is NOT good.. DON'T BUY IT!

Maybe 2 out of 10 people will get a decent quality kit that will last them a year or 2, but that is a very low number to risk wasting money on these kits. These are mass produced, cheaply made products with very little to no testing done on them. They simply sell them just because they are made. They can sell tons of these quickly because of their low price.

You would be a billion times better off buying a used, well maintained, name brand product. Like we say in spanish "Lo barato te sale caro" which means "The cheapest ends up being most expensive"

It'll be fine and get you your power - but on those ebay setups turbos like to seize up after a short period of time, and welds like to break pretty quickly.

Same stuff, different name. You should search around and see all the bad things about these companies. Basically the turbos are depinned grenaded, who knows exaclty when it will blow. The manifolds crack over time, and the downpipes end up cracking over a period of time.

You gotta spend a little to get quality stuff.

Do a search for ss autochrome on this site. Search the archived content. SS Autochrome is absolute crap. So is XS Power. If you want crap in a box, just send me your money. I'll even put a guarantee on the box...

Sure, we have in the past for customer. Kept it under 2 grand and that was using all name brand parts, Garrett's, Tial, Greddy.

I used to have a 88 supra, i bought one of those cheap turbo kits off ebay (I wanted cheap power) and ran fine for a few months. I sold the car then a few weeks later i get this call from the new owner telling me the turbo seized up.

Looking back i wouldnt have bought the cheap turbo kit.

XS power is a great company and has great products...Turbo XS is the one on ebay that sux ***. just wanted to clear that up, but yea ebay kits work fine....for a while then they fall apart. if you ever look inside an ss autochrome manifold you can see they're sucky *** welds. they'll crack for sure.

DON'T DO IT!

A guy I know bought an ebay kit...it made decent jam on the dyno but then one month later the turbo fell apart while he was driving...it was a mess...

He ended up spending even more money just to get his car fixed and to take off that junk kit.

SS autochrome....the audi community thought like you guys, but we guniea pigged it...and found out that his stuff is forreal...his downpipes and exhaust are perfect for our cars...slight modifications for fitament but quality perfect...the turbo manifold, noone has tried yet, but people love his exhaust....just saying..
