painting trim after using primer/filler?

I have crx, and just wondering since i have some scrathes on my rear bumper trim, if I can spray it with high build, sand it, and then spray some duplicolor trim paint. will that hold up?

yes. i did it myself...over a year and a half ago. still looks good. small chips from rocks and stuff. but in good condition
