help me with my 4pt harness.
okay.. yeah i had these corbeau harnesses for awhile now.. wearing them when they dont properly fit. although it did work well in the accident i had but still.. i want them snug. check out the pic ima throw up with this post. (on the right side of me) the harness gets bolted to the slider next to the ebrake handle. the belt is too long im not fat pretty damn skinny. lol. the thought passed my mind to cut and have the belt fixed but wasn't sure if that would affect any safety regulation. the adjusters are maxed out and still needs to be tighter. looking to see how everyone else fixed this problem. i searched and couldn't find any solutions. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
looks like you need to adjust your lap belts, i had the same problem, had to mount the lap belt differntly and readjust them now they work great. where do you have them mounted? my first time i mounted them to the factory seat belt locations. now i have them mounted to the rear bolts on front seat and the shoulder belts go to the rear seat factory mounts(till i fab a harrness bar). i drive a lude but should be simular. if it would help i can try and get you some pics?
the belt on the right side of me is mounted to the slider. i looked around there is no other location to mount the side belt but to the floor where the right rear of the seat mounts. the tensioners are at their max. no it shouldn't be on my abs i know this. since it is mounted to the slider it will not change if i move the seat closer. MORE help. anyway to roll it or something.
here are pics of how i mounted mine, it is a 4th gen lude but should help non the less.
left lap belt mounted to factory location near floor

right lap belt mounted under right rear seat mount bolted to floor.

shoulder straps mouted in rear factory locations

hope these help, plz excuse the lack of vacume, dog hair and my beer belly.

thats exactly how i first had it mounted but only problem was... the reason why i moved it was to adjust it. the belt would be unable to move. i will most likely make a new mount for the belt. thanks for taking time for the pix. and everyone else.
