I have the trans now droped out I was hopping on the way down the shaft would have poped out but it didnt... passenger side came out with no problems...
If anyone have any tricks to get it out let me know!

 

just put a pry bar between the CV joint and the transmission case and pop the axle out

 

Did and thats as far as she will come out...

 

That sucks same **** kinda happened to me but i pryed at it and it came out.

 

get under it with a peace of wood, and wack the other end with a hammer.

 

when in doubt, get a bigger prybar

 

One of my cv's was stuck. Had to use a 4ft pry bar to get it out. the clip ended up getting mangled but it came out

 

The trans had a crack in the housing so she was bone dry I put 40 miles on it and the person that owned it before me put ? miles on it.... I now have the trans out but the shaft is still stuck in there. The trans is shot so if anyone has a spare sitting around I would love to take it off your hands... both CV shafts are junk now too well drives sit is still stuck and pas side both boots were riped...

Why bother taking it out? The trans is junk and so is the axle. Just trash 'em both

 

Yea there trashed so I dont care anymore but since I cant get the shaft out I cant get the trans apart... I want to see what hapeend... Its bad... I got the trans to crack open and some no fluid and lots of metal shavings....

 

with the other axle out from the passener side shove a screwdriver
through the diff and pound out the half shaft. Worked for me when I
broke an axle off in the tranny. good luck

 

just use a pickle fork, but sience that tranny is junk have some fun and beat the crap out of it.

Nothing... I would like to get it out for the core.... Crazy stuff.... The trans isnt looking to good... once I get it apart I will post some pix!

Is the amount of time you've spent on it thus far worth the amount you'd get for returning the core?
