Default Comp Cam??

Hey guys, I have a GSR motor with Comp Cam Stage 1 cams in it. I like the cams, but I wanna upgrade to Comp Cams Stage 2 cam. I was looking at the specs (link below) and the Stage 1 and Stage 2 cams have identicle pri and sec specs, the only difference is the vtec lobe. Are these worth getting? I definitely would love more power in vtec, but looking at the specs i looks like my low end and midrnage will stay the same.

The center line on the Stage 1 exhaust cam is 106.5 degrees and the stage 2 is 108 degrees. What does this mean? Does this difference affect the amount of power the stage 2's will make over the stage 1's?????

I couldn't tell you but that is a lot of lift for VTEC!

Yeah when i saw that I thought maybe theres a type-o, it is alot of lift. But i remember on HorsepowerTV, when they had the EG with a GSR motor in it, they installed the Comp cam stage 2 cams and said it made 17hp with I/H/E and they dynoed the engine at 171hp.

you would be able to run the 2's with no problem. i personaly dont see a problem with them being that the duration isnt too high. the stage 2's are a 284 degree cam and im running 295's in my daily itr with no problems what so ever. it screams up top. ur gonna make more top end power than u currently have now.
