get a big screwdriver and open up the slit on the hub a bit, then make sure that the ball joint is properly aligned when it goes in ..you might have to wiggle it a bit
should be a piece of cake

the drivers side was a peice of cake. but the passenger side is giving me trouble. it seems that the ball-joint is off a bit. its not completely at a 90 degree angle when i try to line it up

bump----

i was told if the engine mounts were off a bit that could be causing the problem.

i was told either jacking one side of the engine up or getting a BIG pry bar and trying to scoot the engine over a bit might work.

doesnt sound very feasible to me though so im still taking ideas. id like to get my car off the jackstands and back on the road >_>

mounts have nothing to do with it........
put the knuckle opening on top of the ball joint, grab the knuckle and move it around till it will line up properly , it will drop into place,, you might have to hit the lower control arm a bit to go into the knuckle but if you spraed the slit on the knuckle like i suggested it will fall right in
