Default New 08 Ninja 250

It's not really big news compared to the Honda line up, but there's a new 2fiddy and it doesn't look like it's from 1983.

no reports on engine specs, some hope/guess it'll be the zzr250 motor (34 hp) and no word on pricing, but it IS confirmed that this isn't a "Everywhere but the US" bike, and kawi dealers will be selling them soon.

I'd ride that!

I wonder why they bothered with a back seat and passenger pegs.

should have a sticker that your gf can only ride it if she's under 105 lbs.

Wow, Kawi designers actually got off their asses and did something with the 250? Bout time. It was pretty sad that my old re-sprayed '88 ZX6 looked almost exactly like a '06 250. Looks great

The only problem I see with this is that it wont be as dirt cheap as before. Then again, they may keep the old one around to fill that dirt cheap niche, depending on how much the price increase will be.

holy crap, that's hot.
Maybe if honda brings the 125rr down it will encourage new riders to actually start small before the government makes it a requirement.

Totally never gonna happen. I can't think of a single lobbying group that would support such a legislation, nor would I. Well, maybe GasGas would, but that's probably it.

/soapbox.

*edit* They STILL aren't putting normal diameter tires on the darn thing?

Nice! I might replace my Elite with one of these bad boys.

Is it fuel injected?

Well what do you want? 180s? That engine can't handle a tire that large.

diameter or width? If you're just talking about width, they put the appropriate sized tires on that bike considering weight and power output. Just like my SV.
