Its ALL going to depend on that YOU want with your car. There are so many preferences on what people want with thier cars it is impossible to awnser the question you have asked, instead start looking at completed cars and note things you like and dislike to yourself, if you look and learn long ehough you will figure it out on yours own.
Start with basic things like:
-Do you want to auto X
-Do you want a show car
-Do is this going to be a daily driver
-What are your ultimate horsepower goals (if over ~200 hp, you will probably want forced induction eventually)
I have been building my car for over two years, it started completely stock and I started adding parts since. For example, I knew taht I wanted a good amount of horsepower so I bought an ls beecuase I learned they were cheap motors that reacted well with boost. A year later I bought a turbo kit.
The one piece of advice I can give you (this may not be good for you, but I live by it) is buy good quality parts the first time on things that matter, ie: suspension componets, turbo parts. Heck, a ebay strut bar isn't going to hurt anything, but its probably not gonna help either, I try and tend to stay away from these, although in the past I have bought a ebay strut bar

i understand what you mean that you cant answer my question but let me give you a lil example of what i want first off no rice **** lol i want my car to be fast look clean look nice but not overdo it and i would drive it daily too so yea but i understand what you mean that i put what I would like but i just want some ideas so i can check up on it and then learn more
suspension
then
motor swap
the car feels extremely different with a good suspension setup
go browse around and read some threads and start taking info in and it will help in the long run.

That is a dumb reason. I think it would make more sense to say that the B series will be easier to install and parts might be easier to find. An H22 is a good motor, but it can be slightly difficult to get everything worked out. The wiring is very diffrent and you need to make sure you get the motor to sit properly. With cheap mounts you will break alot of axles. Do alot of research before you make any decisions so you wont regret them.

x2. The h22 wiring is no different that the wiring involved with a b-swap. In fact obd1 and obd2a cx wiring is very similar to that of the prelude.
And yes, do your research on what mounts/axles to use so you don't break as many. Or eliminate axle issues entirely and get an h2b or a regular b-series swap.

x2, learn to drive your car with a good suspension and know it's capabilities before you have a "monster"
A good set of tires is the BEST mod you can do to a car, that's the worst thing to cheap out on. Nice brakes, shocks, and springs aren't **** with uniroyal tires.

aight thanks guys for the advice i have a couple more questions though
i just checked on a h22 engine (LSD) first whats LSD? and it also said that is has 2156cc what does 2156cc mean or stand for? and it comes 200hp stock now what else can i add to it besides turbo to get more horsepower and torque?
im sorry you guys that im asking so much its just i want to learn as much as possibel before i start working on my car

Displacement is the volume of air "displaced" by the pistons during a single engine cycle. In terms of a single cylinder, displacement is the volume of the space traveled by the piston. The two factors that make up engine displacement are bore and stroke.

search first, come on. lsd=limited slip differential(basically makes it so both wheels get equal power) cc's stands for cubic centameters(the guy above me explains better than I) yes it has 200hp to the crank(prob 170-180whp). learn what a turbo does and rephrase your question............the turbo will make the most power you can possibly make.

your best bet is to do your suspension first. a nice coilover set/ or even a nice spring & shock combo. find a nice lightweight set of wheels (although no neccesary). your car will be lower so take advantage of the styling and get some wheels. personally, dont get over your head with trying to do a swap as soon as you get your car. the D series is a great platform to begin with. see what kind of potential it has. buy a intake/ exhaust/ header/ nice SOHC cam and enjoy the big D, before you get in over your head with a B or even H or K series swap. enjoy the car and figure out what you ultimately want to do with it. then save your $$$money and do your swap the right way. built it right the first time and relieve alot of headaches in the end.

Get the swap done THEN start worrying about that.
Though while the engine is out that's the best time to upgrade your clutch/flywheel.

Why wait? Like dude said a couple of posts up, get your hands dirty with the d-series that's already in it while you're putting together your suspension, etc. and learn about it hands-on. Do all the general tune-up stuff and read read read. D-series stuff is cheap, plus there's always someone around the corner that's selling off used i/h/e parts so you can get a feel for how it all works.
Good luck.
Good luck.
Do a lot of research first, then get the car. It completely depends on what you want out of the car, your budget, etc. I'd get a suspendion setup first; you never want the engine to be too much for the chassis. Then get a swap. Then fine tune. what's your budget btw?

that really doesnt make any sense.
that really doesnt make any sense.
who said anything about the OP wanting "all the power in the world" maybe he just wants to be able to have some more pep when merging onto the freeway.
peronally i did it b/c i wanted better handling and better stability at high speed. 140mph on the highway with stock suspension isnt a good feeling.
