I just brought my ctr pistons and eagle rods to the machine shop and the machinest said that the rod and pistons cant be used together.
He said that the wrist pin wouldnt clip on the rods properly and the wrist pin would be flying around and smaking aginst the cylinder walls.
Anyone using these pistons and rods combo and if so how did you get the rods to stay on the pistons with the wrist pins not have a clip in them?

yes i believe the machine shop was correct about using OEM pistons with AEM rods...
they wont work.. however someone said they will work if you can find a. . .. .i just dont remember what the A is..
maybe you should sell the rods and get LS rods... beam polish then shot peen them...
