Some update pics of the NON-HONDA project, I wanna drive it now!
Here's an update of the '35 Ford I've been building. Finished the 327, it's .040 over, Comp .501/.501 .292/.292 cam, it started as an original numbers matching '67 Corvette 327/340hp, I know a LOT of resto freaks would KILL to have this setup. It has the original 462 camel hump heads with the factory high rise aluminum intake manifold, when I got it, the engine was in dire need of some help! It should be a screamer now, I guess we'll see (trying to find a Holley 650 manual choke carb to replace the Edelbrock on there now.). I took a pic of the mount I'll be using, an original Hurst engine plate I tracked down. Also finished up the body work on the main part of the cab, still need to do the doors, the truck is going te original dark blue but will be flat/satin now. Wheels are '40 Ford for the front and '36 Plymouth for the rear, the firewall of the truck will also be the same color as them. Threw a pic of the old '500' steering I picked up, nice red metalflake...well at one time. I'm in the process of moving right now as well, all the other parts are at our new shop, I have pretty much EVERY part I need, just need to crack down and build the frame now and get a bed. Anyway, here are the pics.
