Default Strut bar?

Well I've seen few 96-00 civics coupe with a curious bar-strut bar, hanging from the front seat belts......is that a strut bar? does anyone have a pic of it? At the beggining I thought it was a seat belt bar from sparco but it isn't ....

If it's from the FRONT seatbelts, it's a B-pillar harness bar. If it's the REAR seatbelts, it's a C-pillar reenforcement bar.

I have an add-on question for the OP.

Whats the point of the pillar bars? Id think they would add less rigidness then the front and rear strut bars.

***EDITED FOR CLARITY***

They're not a strut bar.

Are they anywhere near the struts of the vehicle? No.

It's used to reenforce the b-pillar of the car, and to create a place to take the tension of 4/5 point harnesses during a collision. Without a harness bar, you risk compression of the spine.

Sorry I have struts on the mind as I have to change mine out and have been researching a few brands. I meant the pillar bars. Sorry, sorry, sorry!

Ive seen a few cars with them in, I knew they were used for the harness but I didnt know if they added chassis rigidness like the strut bars and such. Thanks for the info!
