1992 eg cx with gsr swap. car dies at idle.help.
I searched and found only that cars die while driving and it ends up being either the igniter or the main relay.
My car dies only at idle not while i'm driving. I will come up to a stop sign or stop light while driving and my idle will be sitting perfectly at 1000rpm and all of the sudden just die fast. It only does it sometimes and other times it just sits perfectly at idle. I put on a new relay and it still dies. Just to clear it up it only dies if im driving around and stop at a light, if i turn it on to warm it up it does not die at all it has to be driven first. I thought it could be the fuel pump but theres no way because the car would have died while i was driving it. I will change the igniter tomorrow but has anyone had this problem before?

now i have a cose 16 fuel injectors.already changed the relay and it still dies. Is it the fuel pump? I was low on fuel the same day the car started shutting off. I was going to the gas station and it died before i got there but turned over with no problems, then i filled her up and started shutting off since. Did my fuel pump fry? Does it over heat and then shuts off?help.
so i just changed the fuel pump and it still dies.im going to rewire my injectors and also check all the wiring.
it hesitates a little. It just started doing it also.I will check my fuel filter today but i don't think thats it.I'm going to try other injectors too.

heres the update. I took of my intake arm and found out that one of the screws that holds the plate on the throttle body was missing.so i take of the injectors and i pulled out the screw with a magnet by the intake valves. I put everything back together and i checked my compression and 3 cylinders read 210 and one reads 200. So i go on a drive and between 4000-5000rpm the car seems to struggle a bit and i get pissed off. So then i pop v-tech and my car starts sputtering and my injector light goes on.The thing is the car doesn't die and now i'm a little happy since its probably the injectors that make the car struggle. I will try to figure out the rest tommorow. I'm just happy i found that screw and my car does not shutt off anymore at idle.do you guys think its the injectors that are making my car strugle now?
