Default HELP! Canot find a radiator cap that fits!

Just installed an aluminum Civic Radiator into my Integra, and cannot find a cap that fits. The OE one is barely too small, a Ford style is two times as big!

I am using a Proliance Pro-formance Aluminum radiator, part # 439505.

I need this car running by tomorrow.

Just throwing this out as a suggestion. If it's a civic rad why don't you try the civic cap?

Civic cap does not fit.

Went and bought one to make sure, I got the OE on on for now with a hammer. Drove it until it warmed up, and no leaks so far. Just have to fix the ghetto radiator stay.

i know with a fyuidine i used a NSX cap. Didnt think autozone would stock one but they did. Did you try getting ahold of the company who makes the radiator? If not Id just take it down to the parts store with ya and go on a scavenger hunt

Company was no help. Found one at work that fit a 1990 Mitsu Eclipse 2.0 turbo. Got the 16 pound version.

Also got the radiator held in there better.

Temp stays at 210 or lower. I wish it could make it stay at 180 (What the thermostat is rated at).

So, if you have a Proliance aluminum radiator, try a DSM cap.
