Huys, I just bought a 180 amp lincoln welder, and I need a gas cylinder. I was just wondering what you guys use or recommend. Also, what kind of time frame are you looking at per cft? I suppose that may vary with the type of gas.?. Thanks

 

is this welder a tig or mig? because tig uses a lot more gas so i would recommend you at least get a 110CF tank.

when i had a 50CF tank i had to get it filled just about every week.

 

Dang, knew I was forgetting something. It is a mig.

 

if you don't weld everyday a 80CF bottle is a good size and should last you a few months.
