Axle nut fell off! Need replacement ASAP. SoCal 805/818 area
Long story short, my axle nut fell off whilst driving today. I need a replacement ASAP! Who in the 805/818 area has one they can send me?!
Also, can anyone think of any damage that would come from driving around for the time being? I'm hoping that the axle hubs aren't beating on my wheel/diff bearings...

Please post your WTB threads in the Honda-Tech Marketplace.

Your local dealership might also have one in stock.

I don't want to "buy" anything - I want to find someone local who can give me one
I also want to know if anyone can think of any harm that will come from me driving around for a few days sans axle nut. I'm kind of leary of driving like this.

Wait, really? You can buy just the nut? I thought they only sold the axles! I'm going to call them right now.

It'd still belong in the Marketplace.

You dont need to buy the whole axle set to get the nut. Sometimes when you get a referbished (sp?) axle you dont even get the nut.

WTF, the guy at Autozone was helping me, then someone took the phone from his hands and said "we're closed" and hung up! Those bastards.
Looks like Honda sells them individually:

I guess I'll go there tomorrow morning. Hopefully the axle doesn't destroy itself en route

Take another car, seriously. Or even if you within a reasonable distance of your dealer they might be able to deliever to you. But dont drive without that nut it could slip out and cause damage to both the axle and the wheel bearing. Not worth it.
