Achieving 200 whp??
right now im stuck between all motor, built with nitrous, or turbo'ing my 99 gsr
i would like to achieve atleast 200 whp and still mantain daily drivability
right now i have dc header,aem intake,s2 intake manifold,greddy evo2 exhaust.
i have a complete bottom end rebuild kit and oem usdm ITR pistons.
if i was to put these pistons in, convert to obd1, get cams and valve train could i reach 200 whp all motor, and safely run a 50 shot?
sorry for the newb questions i just wanna do this right the first time without wasting money

My budedy's eg has a sleeved GSR w/eagle rods and Arias 11.1 cp bored to 84.5mm on the bottle at churches he pulled off a 227.8hp on motor and 283hp on the bottle on 91 oct. Now I'm in the prosses in maybe going in that routh
i'm closing this thread for a couple reasons:
1). You have no basis to judge what you will need to make 200whp. Your engine could output 130whp on one dyno and 160whp on another. its going to take a SHITLOAD more work to make 70 more whp to reach your goal rather than 40whp.
2). You cant even base your goal off of other dyno's. You can base the "curve" you want on other dyno's but the numbers cannot be compared.
with that said, read my reply before this one. Dyno the motor and see what it makes then adjust your goals accordingly.
