I have a b18c1 swapped 1994 DX coupe

I installed an EX gauge cluster but the tachometer won't work. I've tried two separate gauge clusters. I'm told this is plug and play - am I don't something wrong?

I have 3 pins connections I make - the two white ones on either side and the yellow one - am i missing something?

please help me out.
