V-tec engage but power drop off

Just went to get my 89 turboed civic with a y8 motor tuned from chris at xenocron. While on the dyno when the vtec engaged...the power dropped off...then came up.... now im on here lookin for probable cause...let me know..

that graph looks all f-ed up.
what kind of cam is in there. It seems that your vtec engagement is set too low. Mine was like that when my vtec was at 5300, brought it up to 5800 and it engages very well now. No power drop.

Stock Cam...the little hump at the begin in the load on the dyno on then off and then full throttle...so basically everything after that point...i think ill try bringin up the v-tec to see if i can more of a consistant line...any other ideas
