Yes NEWBIE it is important sometimes to know the exact paint code so that if the paint shop has computerized paint mixing then all they have to do is punch in the exact code and it will be perfect.
Anyway. So paint shops have computerized mixing, and there's a "universal code" that defines the individual pigments and codes, eh?
Hmmm. Didn't know that. Still running around with my originial Frost White paint myself. I'm considering Suzuka Blue Metallic, but I dunno. Seems kinda risky.
