Default Check engine light and tranny issues...

Where do i find a list of the check engine codes for a 1990 Honda Accord EX. I am also having an issue with the "S" light staying on, on my automatic tranny. It feels like the car is starting in 3rd or 4th gear and it does not shift on its own. But if i manually shift it to 1st it takes off fine. Any ideas would be great! Thanks!~

Ok this may sounds weird but i had the exact same issue on my 91 honda accord....the shift light was flashing an car was slow or w/e but the problem was the 2 temprature sensors the one for the thermo and the one in the head were switch up becuase they are both the same plug....so that was like that it made the car idle low when we started it up right away and the shift light was always flashing...so when we switched the 2 the problems all went away....it was weird but its a thought for you...
