B20B + B16 Tranny?
I searched, but didn't find too much. I am thinking of going the route of a B20B with a B16 tranny. How well is this setup? I have heard mixed opinions. A lot say it's good for the amount of low-end torque you receive. Then others say it is not good because of the gearing of a B16 tranny compared to a B20? Any help on this subject would be great!
It should be a lot of fun. Just remember, it's a light truck motor, not a b16. So you can't just rev it like a b16 unless you build the bottom end.
No reving to 8500 for long in that beast.
Should be a lot of fun. Torquey so dd'ing will be better.

Ok, thanks guys. I just head it isn't good on the block because of the shorter gears. I wasn't sure if this was true or not. They said you wear and tear on it a lot because of the shorter gears. However, I don't see how that is possible unless you BEAT THE HELL out of the engine. So, thanks for the info guys!
