i have a set of pr3 pistons and rods I was going to put in my gsr, but I didnt know if the rods were a difference length and if I should use my gsr rods or those. Also the head was built with low comp valves and I wasnt sure if they were going to make a big impact on doing a mild n/a build. Any help is appreciated thanks.
what happened when you did a search under "rod lengths"?
Low compression valves? do you mean stock valves? They're fine in any build you'll ever do.

Gsr rods and P30 pistons in a GSR block = about 11.5:1 CR
Flat faced valves = .2 - .3 bump in CR
Mill head 0.030 and add another .2 - .3 maybe.
Then get really big cams like buddy club spec IV's

what flat faced valves add .2-.3 CR. When i spoke to a rep at Supertech he only told me they bump of CR .08. I calculated my CR off of a .08 bump
Everything I have found about the supertech flatfaced valves gave me a .2 - .3 bump.
If its only a .08 then I need to remove a layer off my headgasket.
