are you saying you have an F20B and you want to change it to F22B?
maybe you have the old F20A motor... F20B is from Japan and makes 200HP.

Am I wrong but doesn't 94 Accords have either a F22b1 or 2 and not an F20b?And I don't think a stock F20a or b motor makes 200hp. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_F_engine#F20A
Any way,If you are swapping one motor for another, why wouldn't you just put in a H22? something doesn't sound right here,or maybe I'm wrong.

Yes, a factory 94 accord dx, lx and ex USDM can came with a f22b1 or f22b2 (correct me if i'm wrong)

Wrong, the f20a is a 120-130ish hp motor. while the f20b (SiR / SiR-T / Type R) can dish out 180 peak rpms (automatic) and 198 peak rpms (manual)

once again, correct me if i'm wrong.

Edit: But To Answer Your Question Zero...i highly doubt you have an f20b in your 94 right now, because A: if you did, you would have converted to obd2 (correct me if i'm wrong) & B: you wouldn't want to throw away 50-55hp to get a sohc. unless you had plans for boost. then you're talkin the talk homeboy

So is Wiki wrong? It says that F20b makes no more than 148hp.And why wouldn't you just boost an H22?wouldn't you make more hp than boosting an F22?

I"m not following people's logic at all?

F20B = JDM SiR motor

F22B1/B2 = USDM EX/LX/DX motor

H22 = JDM SiR motor / USDM Prelude motor

the F20B and H22 both make roughly 180-200

The F22's make 140ish

And you can make more hp on anything, people go H for a higher starting point and more parts availability.

x2

H22 is just a little torquier down low than the F20B and doesn't rev as high. About same max HP. much better parts availability for the H22 engines.

The F20A only came in JDM and EDM models. You must have a F22A - but then it would be a 90-93 USDM Accord.

Check out this link for the listing

http://www.accordinglydone.com...ies=F

also - you could just settle this pretty easy by posting a pic of your engine block.

are you in CA? If so... you might want to go with a H22 swap instead. Both H22 and F22 can keep you OBD1, but the H would be a helluva lot more fun! I used to have an F22 in my accord... kinda boring.

oh don't get me wrong the kickback rev power off the bottom end makes me go apeshit for it. but then i ponder i remember, i drive a 94 & don't feel like converting now. So boosted 2.2 it is.
