When it jumps, does the car jerk too and rev a bit? It sounds like it can be a slipping clutch, but if the car still feels "solid" in acceleration and no sound change, then it probably isn't.

Well if it's a new clutch it's still breaking in...if you were hard on it there's a good chance you could have fucked it up - you have to go easy on it for the break-in period (1000 miles)?

Rpm was working fine with the b16 so i dont think it can be the fuel filter

i cant imagine the rpms bouncing like that when ur in gear. if its doing it in gear that it would be just luck your puttin your foot down on the pedal. and if u say its not jerking than its not doing it in gear. my question is can u actually hear the motor revving up or no? cause if u cant then its just ur gauge lol my accord did that for a while and then just went away.
motors not revving... gauges worked fine before.. when im revving the engine out of gear the rpm would be perfectly fine..its just when im in gear the rpm starts to bounce..
yah man im havin the same porb. so when u find out wut it is let me know too. but wit mine after a while it just gose away and the car runs fine its only when thecar has been off for a day or two . it starts to get annoying after a while the car is jerking back and forth. hope you find out wut it is for both of us cause i want to know how to fix it aready. thx
