Well on saturday i was down at jeff evans for tuning and we ran into a very weird problem with my built b16.

All of a sudden we couldnt start the car back up and there was no spark at all.

Tried replacing the dizzy (2 different ones), checked every fuse with multimeter, checked 12v at dizzy that was fine, and checked the continuity of every wire coming from the wiring harness to the dizzy, checked out fine no breaks.
Changed ecu's same problem. There is also no CEL codes.

Im completed lost with this problem , and jeff spent about a good 5 hrs on this problem and we are completly lost.

Any one have any ideas??

 

Did you try testing your coil for resistance?

 

on the dizzy?

we tried out 3 different dizzys

 

post up in forced induction mang?

thats a wierd issue for sure. If Jeff couldnt figure it out.... really strange.

Did you check the plug wires? or Plugs

 

i am pretty sure jeff would have checked this, t stat grounds? were you getting 12v at the injectors?

 

yah injectors we're pulsing ... they we're getting flooded after trying to start it so much.

is there a ground that the distributor harness connects to?

 

yes there is. check all grounds...and try to find a break in a wire with a multimeter..

 

did a continuity check on all wires running from pcm to dizzy ... all check fine.. no breaks

 

did you ever figure this out?? please pm me what was wrong, my friend is having a similar problem.
