Default rear sus noise

i recently changed my rear sus to tanabe coilovers with F7 lower arms..i'm getting this weird crackling noise when i go over bumps or when the car tilts sideways..what could this be, i checked the rear sus and everything is bolted on tight and i also lubed the collars of the bushings on the lca's..has anyone ever experienced this?

mine does the same thing. Im on Nuespeed coils and oem shocks. I'm pretty sure its just from the twist of the frame/ compression of the springs. How bad is the noise. Mine is very faint.

i had it before, dont know if the same but try. when i installed coilovers, i was going crazy looking what was that, finaly found that the coilover nuts that adjust the height(the big ones) were not tight enough, so i just put the wrench on one, and the other one just tightened with screwdriver and hamer.

i dont think its coming from the coilovers because the noise is coming from the center where the lca connects to the body...but i'll check again to be sure

the noise is pretty significant..is it because i changed the lca's to F7's??

It very well could be a loose bolt/ unlubricated bushing. Turn ar wrench and shoot some lube and see what happens.

i've done that already, put a good amount of lube inside the sleeve of the bushing connecting to the body..still puzzled??? is this serious??

have you inspected your subframe for damage? are you running a sway bar? aftermarket exhaust? Checked your spare tire area for loose crap?

well, i had the subframe inspected and everything seems good, i checked for cracks or other abnormalities but couldn't see any...nope, no sway bar but i'm running a BC pro spec full exhaust...it wasn't making this weird noise until after i replaced my rear sus to coilovers/F7 lca's...the noise started about 5 days after i installed the new sus

check and see if the LCA has been hitting your exhaust. I dont know if the new LCA you got is different than what you had before as far as dimensions.

your right, its probably not, but you never know. Sometimes it not what you expected. What exactly is a crackling noise. Thats kind of a strange noise to hear.

its like there is something loose, it's not really rattling it's hard to explain, but that's what it is...

stick someone in the trunk and see if they can pinpoint the area its coming from.

eh, its probably nothing important then. I had my muffler fly off once. That was my own fault though

well, if your sure its not in the spare compartment itself, then thats a strange place, esp. since you dont have a sway bar. I would venture to say its got to be where the LCAs hook up to the subframe. If you have to, take them off, and reinstall. Lube up bushings, etc. Good luck man.
