Default body shop ?

Hello I bought a 96 civic ex beater and I'm wondering if I take my car to a body/paint shop will they be able to make the front and rear bumpers sit flush with the fenders?

If you drive it regularly, don't mold your bumpers, they will crack. It's also not cheap, especially if it's done right.

are you talking about molding your bumpers, or fixing an alignment issue?

Aligning them is most likely something that you could do. All you'll need is a socket set (usually a 10mm socket) and some screwdrivers (flat-head to pop off the retainer clips, phillips for bumper screws).

How are the bumpers mis-aligned? Do they stick out on the sides, or are they gaps between bumper and fender?

Well this car is my new project and it is a pos to say the least, but I purchased the car for cheap. The past owner put new oem bumpers on the car (front and rear). The problem up front is that the bumper is hanging low creating a gap but the driver side headlight and bumper its not sitting flush. The sides are fine they are pretty flushed. I was just wondering if the body/paint shop would be able to fix this problem.

If they couldn't fix it, then they shouldn't be in business. It all comes down to how much the repair costs...anythings fixable.
