Default streetimports.com exhaust?

http://www.streetimports.com/p...d=996
was wondering if anybody has any reviews on this product. from what i have read and researched their turbo manifolds and their 4-1 itr header seems to be pretty well built (except earlier models but the fitmet problem has been fixed). any suggestions or comments please.

That's true...to an extent.

After that extent it just becomes promotional bullshit.

After a certain extent you must realize that a pipe is a pipe and the rest of it is just dependent on the welds.

Do you think you get 3XX in quality when you pay for something like apexi or buddy club? No, you get maybe 200 in quality, and 100 for the name.

The Spec 2's (I think it was them) were rotting the expletive out after like 2 years, last time I've heard of 'em. You do indeed get what you pay for - but after awhile you pay for the name.

^^^ true see alot of people on here have bought their itr 4-1 header and said besides the fitmet issue it is great for the price. but do they build their exhaust the same way?? that is the question. i am very happy spending 200 or so for a good built catback i dont care bout the name or what country it is from.

Yeah, they build pretty good ****. Though it's all relative - how low is your car - how badly is this thing gonna get slammed around?

Like I said before, I've seen apexi and greddy exhausts that started rotting out after 2 years...so what defines: "good" - the welds? The welds aren't much diff of the welds of any other "name brand" company.

I'd do it for 200 - but I don't know anything about the sound quality or anything.

<-- I have a custom bent 2.5 or 2.75" straight pipe - one piece - for an EJ8 - that'll out-flow just about any "name brand" deal out there of the same diameter.
